This is the worst product I have ever bought. Save your money. It is a pain to set up. I have a cable box so I only need channel 3 and it was a night mare to set up. After recording 3 shows it no longer opens. I dumped the prefs and was able to re register and watch what was in my library, but it will no longer see a channel and crashes when I scan for them. There is no way of setting it to record every week so you must enter all recordings manually. I have tried to download the software and reinstall but they send me a stationary pack instead.
I even tried to set up the recommended 3rd party TV guide that cost extra $, but it too failed.
Also there is no fast forward or rewind other than clicking on a small bar wher you may jump any where from 2 min to 6 minutes with the shortest click.
I have run this app for a while and have 3 keys I picked up in packages thru the years. Only one would allow me to upgrade for the $5 and once I installed it all my codes are gone. Nothing back from the developer. I am just glad I have backup copies and I use 1password to store my apps as well.
Old version worked fine maybe a little slow but it worked.
5 Stars
This is an excellent program, simple, easy to use and have had no problems with it at all in the last 3 months. It does the job right and it does it well. If only it could launch applications with the same ease of use.
I was a user of version 2 but had to stop using as it required access for assistive devices to be turned on in Universal Access. Unfortunately I am required to run a third party application that acts up when this feature is turned on. This new version no longer requires this so I am excited to pay my upgrade fee.
Great support!
Had a problem with the tool bar on version 1.1.6 on Leopard. Developer had a work around within 15 minutes and a New version 1.1.7 is already being downloaded on this link. Get this application now with the discount. The ability to compare the results with past scans, including the hidden files and instantly see what files are growing, compress a file to create space, and reveal a files location in the finder. I know of no other application that does this.
Two years ago I had an invisable var file in the System Folder that grew to 68 gigs on my PB G4. Filled all the disk space and slowed system to a crawl. Took me hours to find it, this would have found it in minutes.
AND ITS FAST!
Scanned 146 gigs in 2.5 minutes on Alum iMac
[Version 1.1.6]
