BEWARE: DO NOT purchase any product from Chronosnet.com if you expect a response to purchase/serial number problems or bug resolution requests.
Too bad, since many of their products are pretty good: I own SOHO Business Card, SOHO Labels and, now, Labelist, an upgrade to SOHO Labels. I purchased the upgrade May 5, 2012.
When the purchase receipt email arrived it had the serial number and so forth.
But the serial number did not work. And their only response, elicited via their clumsy ticket system on their website was: "Well, it worked for us."
I couldn't respond to their email since they won't accept emails. So back to the ticket system..And since their ticket system does not, apparently, allow for attachments, like a screen shot of the input serial number box and the failure message that came up next, I included a Dropbox link of a zip file of the screen captures.
And I never received any response even though I filled a a new ticket several times.
I have never been able to get this program to work. I just got the most recent version via the MacUpdate bundle, and got suckered again.
At least this version has an option to manually add movies. With my old version, one needed to depend SOLEY on the ability of Multiplex to find movies, which it did very poorly, hardly ever finding external drives.
Now I can add movies at will to a blank page which is headed by the title "Multiplex - Now Showing 7 Movies."
A BLANK PAGE!!!
The menu option to "Toggle Info Drawer" does absolutely nothing.
Just got an email from the developer solving my problem.
"This odd, and relatively rare issue is caused by an old beta versions that corrupted preferences files when you start running the release version of Multiplex. It's relatively easy to fix.
Please either run the following command in the Terminal window:
cd ~/Library/Preferences/com.multiplexapp."
Kudos to developer for quick fix.

Dead silence.

Keyboard Maestro

Since that time it's become an indispensable part of every workflow on my computer:
Launching apps
Substituting text ala Text Expander and TypeIt4Me
Adding menu commands where app developers have dropped the ball
URL launchers
and inter-App communication
It's simply the most useful (frustration relieving) tool on my computer.
Developer support to my queries has been outstanding.
