The sole reason I keep a Windows PC laptop up & running at home is to run Quicken for Windows, because the Mac version is just so execrable. One really has to wonder what exactly the Mac division of Intuit does for a living-- play WoW all day? Or maybe it's just one lonely monkey banging out random code on a keyboard; it would be about this stable & useful.
Simply put, if you do ANYTHING with plain text files (including HTML, CSS, CSV, or any programming) you NEED this program. It boggles the mind that it's free; it's easily the best bargain out there!
Sweet and simple, like the developer said. Yes, XMind is more complex, but-- it's more complex :-). With MindNode, my kid could sit down, and with less than two minutes instruction from me she was creating mind maps for her class. Try THAT in Xmind.
I also find it great for super-quick brainstorming where I don't want to get hung up on fiddling with the details (font, box shape, color, etc)-- having ADHLAH* makes this an all too common problem for me with XMind.
Great app, thanks for the free version.
