NeoOffice

Enforcing a donation to download is not donation-ware. Donation-ware is supposed to annoy you with a dialog box within the program saying please support us for this such and such version and should be that way.

This seems more commercial-ware to me.

Or just holding the app till you pay whatever amount you think it is worth to get the download. Sorta like a TV advert for charities. You get something for donating.

But for Software? Not so much for this, seeing that there are other Office alternatives that do the same-thing. It makes enforcing support somewhat moot. :

Skype
Ddstuff commented on 28 May 2011
Not being fan-boyish when I say this. But isn't it the norm for Microsoft to update it's PC counter-part first then others last?

I would hate to have a half-baked Skype after playing with the Mac Version of WLM (Windows Live Messenger). My PC will always have a full featured client of that sadly.

Just hope MS does not do that to Skype. Just being hopeful that it won't.

This app saves me from using Photoshop for resizing every image. This one does them all with little effort! Awesome!

I'm glad there's a freeware application like this. My video game collection has just grown over the years and keeping track of them with this app has just been great. The Autocomplete feature and choice of site to grab the information from is a plus.

So I thank you for making this awesome application.

Keep up the good work! :)

BabyaTV

I can't seem to download this version.

I keep getting this when attempting to download:
The bandwidth or page view limit for this site has been exceeded and the page cannot be viewed at this time. Once the site is below the limit, it will once again begin serving as normal.

Is it possible to have this download on a different site that won't limit this? Because I seem to be out of luck every time I try.

I have version 1 of this app and would like to update to this version.

RealPlayer SP
Ddstuff had trouble on 07 Oct 2009
I've noticed I've had crashing issues while trying to use Real Player 11.1. I found a solution to the issue.

Go to your "Library/Preferences/"

And look for "com.RealNetworks.RealPlayer.plist" and "com.realnetworks.realplayerdownloader.plist".

Or anything that says "RealNetworks" in there.

Delete them and relaunch Real Player.

BTW, I'm running Leopard 10.5.8.
Not sure if this will work with Snow Leopard users.

The only work around is having a web browser like Firefox or Safari open in order to use Real Player. And selecting "Later" on the System Configuration dialog box.
