Now my favorite Pandora app. Simple, direct interface and just works.
In version 1.5.3 (and maybe 1.5.4) I experienced a problem running it on Mac OS X 10.6, but the developer quickly fixed this problem with version 1.5.5. thanks!
I don't usually write reviews, or write them so quickly, but I tried this today and bought it after working with the demo for 15 minutes. It is perfect for what it is and for its simplicity. Like another reviewer here, I write for publishing, but unlike him, I like this for what it is. True, it's not a word processor. It's more a thought processor and that's what I want. When done, you can save in the native format, or export to PDF, TXT or RTF when you're ready to process it in Word or another app.
I wanted something like myTexts but without the sudden crashing (thank God myTexts had auto-save). Today I looked around after two crashes with myTexts, and OMM. What else can I say?
Thanks to the developers for a really thoughtful app. You don't need to do more to it. Keep it simple. But that said, how about a pure black background, or dark gray? I will donate more money to you soon, as soon as some of my writing assignments pay off. Thanks!
Simple. Easy to use. Single window list vs. a more complicated interface. I like this better than the others out there. I have tried them all and own many of them including 1Password.
Wow! What a great piece of software. Perfect for what it is. It helped me track down usage on my drive really quickly and locate folders where tons of data was being stored. More valuable than any visual pie chart in my opinion. Highly-recommeneded. Thank you to the developers.
This is one incredible finance program. Although it is the new kid on the block and only at version 0.x, it is more advanced than all the other programs out there which are at version 3, 4, 5, etc. And so far, it is extremely stable, not to mention reliable. Whoever the developer is, they are a real brain. This is built from inside out, not the other way around like many of the others. They really know function and design go hand in hand. The interface is plain and simple, and most importantly easy to see on screen, with the ability of the user to customize it more to their liking.
With my switch from Quicken 2004 for Mac this spring, I tried them all. These others included Money4, Moneydance, and iBank. Initially I was attracted to Money and Moneydance, in spite of the fact that SEE Finance did the best import out of all the programs.
But as I found out, after using the others first and getting to know them, I found them lacking in one way or another. Not enough to make me run away, just wishful thinking. I thought each program will be missing something that another might have (for my simple needs), and just expected this with SEE Finance too when I began using it. But as I began working with SEE Finance it was like a dream come true. It did everything I needed, even the simple things.
I know this review is very vague but I am incapable of writing a technical review without spending hours on it. Something I can't do. All I can say, is give it a try. The more time you spend with it, the more you will like it. These guys just totally made my week, and year.
Thanks to Little Snitch, I learned that Parallels tries to make a network connection every time I boot up. It's always the first request, and this is a program I rarely open. Why? Seems kind of evasive. Blocked. Little Snitch has been a good education and a good experience overall so far.
