LaunchBar

I've been using Launchbar for a while, so I should know how it works, but I have been unable to change the shortcut for Launchbar to the keyboard shortcut I prefer. Because I haven't been able to reslove the shortcut controversy between Launchbar and Spotlilght, I haven't been able to use it.

I realize that's an option, but that's not the way I want it to work. I should be able to change Launchbar's keyboard shortcut, if that's the way I prefer it to work.

Yes, I knew how to change it right up to the beta version of Launchbar 5. In fact, I did change the shortcut to another one then the default. The beta version doesn't appear to pay attention to my preferences. It appears to be unchangeable entry.

I agree with studioarsenic. OSX does this itself. And it has some very nice effects as well.

Data Backup

Version 3, like version 2, has a tendency to crash when renaming backup sets. It only remembers the default backup sets. Half the time I try to run it manually, I have to re-install. Once the thing is setup, it seems to function properly.

NeoOffice

NeoOffice works well for me. Just remember to download and install the patches that they put out regularly. They have made significant progress with this app.
