VLC Media Player
Chris Habig commented on 18 Feb 2012
The md5 hash I get from the download doesn't match the hash that I'm supposed to get, according to VLC's website. Can someone please confirm?

I emailed the developers about the 64 bit Intel version. They confirmed the error and have corrected the website.

FreeMemory

To really free up memory, turn your computer off. I assure you that the DRAM will lose its contents.

MacTheRipper

MacThe Ripper works great, but why is it still PPC only? Come on guys, at least ship a universal binary!

iFreeMem

This program is a total, ineffective waste of time. Free memory is by definition memory that isn't being used. There is no way that unused memory can make the system or any particular application faster.

PDF Studio

Considering the following:

1. Preview already does just about every single thing this app claims to do.

2. The app is an ugly Windows port.

3. They want $60 dollars for it!!

I can't recommend this application.

Addressix

I've been using the program since day 1. It's small, does it's job, and does it well. Integration with Address Book is good. Printed envelopes look outstanding.

Cee Pee You

My first reaction--why would anyone name a product, Cee You Pee?

Ding!
Chris Habig commented on 21 Mar 2006
A dumb concept for users, a great concept for marketing. But why would I want to keep an application running just to watch for fare sales on Southwest (not known for great service, btw). This should have been a dashboard widget.
