I got MMF 1.1b4
It processes files dragged onto the email folder. They are put in the sent folder, inside the email folder of the desktop.
On the other side, the recipient only receives:
...
Sent with Magic Mail Folder
and the name of the dragged file as a subject line. The file itself is sent as an attachment.
Looking into the Gmail 'sent' folder shows that Gmail sent the dragged file as an attachment. But the attachment was not received in the email received by the recipient. I can see the jpg in the sent folder file in Gmail. When I forward that file - I can see the jpg - it arrives without the jpg attachment.
So, the way it is attached by MMF is not working correctly with Gmail. The attached file is sent to Gmail in a way that will not be sent correctly by Gmail. I am not using the Gmail 'always send SSL' preference.
I tried several kinds of files. In every case the files were sent. In every case gmail received AND sent the files. In every case I CAN see the attachments IN Gmail. In every case the files were NOT attached to the RECEIVED emails in a viewable way.
Now I will attempt different email address that I can access and see if different email providers can receive the attachments.
