Very Nice!
If only it worked ;-(...it won't even startup on my computer (MDD FW800 Dual 1.25 Ghz running OSX 10.4.5)
Tried it on at testdrive with 10.4.4 as well..no luck there either
It doesn't even come up with a "...unexpectedly quit" sign or anything :-(
OMG!
It sure feels like being back in the "good" ol' PPC/68k days ;-)
Makes me think 'bout what actually happened/improved since then?
well not much! My mac can do just about the same tasks now as it could back then...only thing that improved slightly is the speed in some tasks! (but not definately not all)
and the "resolution" meaning a bit better/higher quality on video & audio, and generally the computer is a bit faster..
Seems to me that these new OS'es is eating up most of all the extra CPU power we've got since back then? ..!
back then stripping out the unwanted extra code would make apps load a lot faster...:-)
now well erh stripping out a few MB of code when you've got GigaBytes's of RAM and min. 0.x TeraBytes HD space..does it make a difference?
I apologize if my comment seemed like turning your work down, that was in no way my intention. (nor to turn you down..)
My comment was just a reflection over past and present...and how incredibly little we've actually gained from all this "fantastic" bigger, faster etc. hardware
