I don't mind piracy protection schemes that tie a product to my email address, or some long serial number that I can cut and paste into a product. I don't even really mind instant activation schemes like the one used by Wingware's WingIDE. However, schemes that require me to put in a registration code and then wait any length of time at all for some other code to be emailed to me before I can use something that I just bought is very, very annoying.

Being a software engineer myself, I understand your situation; however, if you make me jump through too many hoops, which in my opinion you do, then I won't be very inclined to buy your stuff again.

Having said that, I think your product works well in all other aspects, and is much nicer to use than any online dictionary providing a similar service. Thank you.
