Just about everything in life involves a tension between various elements. For instance, in cars there is safety vs cost.

For Omnifocus to be useful, it has to have some complexity. However, this complexity apparently puts many people off. I think that if people gave themselves a little time to learn and experiment with Omnifocus, they would find that it is very learnable. For Omnifocus to have the necessary complexity and yet be so learnable, it has to be well thought-out; with that comes expense.

Omnifocus has made all the difference in my worklife, and for that I say thank you to the Omni group. It makes me want to tell everyone about it and encourage everyone to take the time to get to know it. Often those things with you can get *now* (instantaneously) have low value; those things which have great value you must cultivate over time.
