Nice app. I never really used anything like this before, I always renamed files individually when editing (video, audio, and photos).
I use it mainly when backing up to external HD's, I can tag the files by date, location or whatever makes searching and indexing simple.
I would like to see an Undo button in case of user error on the input. It may already be there but I have yet to find it, if anybody knows I would appreciate it.
I was always baffled by ffmpeg, after many attempts to use it through the terminal I finally gave up and admitted defeat.
After a while I decided to give iffmpeg a go and I am surprised at how easy it makes the task seem. I like having the commandline on view as well so I can see the mistakes (just about everything) I made when trying to use ffmpeg without this app. It is also nice to see what is really happening when a program is running.
Some things I would like to see in future builds are.
1: Be able to resize the window.
2: Be able to un-tick some files when the process is running without having to stop the the current tasks.
Minor little things that do not affect the quality of this app I know, but it is the little things that make some of us happy.:-)
I have just done a fresh install (end of year clean) and this is always one of the first apps to be reinstalled.
I do not like messing with the OS as I tend to mess about too much and break things, so to have a tool that will do these jobs for me is a must.
Onyx is easy to use and the support is first class, that is all I ask for with any app.
Great software for RAW image files. This is the first stop for all my photo's, after using this software (their presets are spot on for what i need) I find that there is rarely any need for me to open Lightroom anymore, Lightroom is basically used as a library these days.
Corrections are carried out according to your camera model and lens you were using to shoot the image.
Would like to see the processing speeded up a bit but you must also realise the depth of changes these adjustments make to a photo.
Would highly recommend to people who shoot mainly RAW image files.

Overall I am impressed.
