I'd bought his app as it seemed a more convenient way to store passwords. But since Safari 5.1 I can't use it, can't unlock Safari extension. I've tried all the things mentioned in their forum without any luck. Finally I've emailed the Diagnostic Report and got an auto-response telling me to try those forums and tutorials again. Too much hassle for a 40 dollar app. They should have sorted it out before releasing anyway.
Every other app of this kind highlights the text when you insert a comment, but not these free Offices. Ridiculous.
Someone sends you back your text with some comments and (s)he says in the comments "Delete this" or "This is not true", but all you see is an arrow pointing a full stop or a word. Now which part to "delete" or which part is "not true"? Just that last word or the last three ones or the whole sentence up to that word or...?
I've given up looking for an app fully compatible with MS Word and if not for this silly "feature", I would try to convert others I'm collaborating with to use Open Document Format.
An ODF app not trying to be compatible with MS Word, but with all the features and without the clunkiness and such silliness, is needed.
Its many other features may be available through Doug Applescripts, but it is the only working lyrics fetcher for the time being beside the complementary (Intel only) Massive Lyrics.
It's even found lyrics for a 70s Italian band, Banco Del Mutuo Soccorso. I don't know if Massive Lyrics would be as successful on its own, but it's found some additional lyrics.
I'm backing up the whole iTunes folder (280 GB of media folders, library etc.) placed on a WD network drive.
I was using SyncTwoFolders succesfully untill a few days ago when I finally managed to fetch lyrics by the great TunesInstructor. SyncTwoFolders couldn't detect and back up the changes (lyrics).
Then I tried Synk Pro 6.x. It did the job, detected the changes and copied all the files containing lyrics in around five hours.
Then I tried Super Flexible and it did the same job in a few minutes copying only the lyrics, not the whole audio files containing them. Besides, unlike the new version of Synk Pro, it supports PPC, and is now discounted.
It's a bit paranoid, asking constant confirmations, but you can turn this off.
I've tried to try ChronoSync as well, but it produced two warnings, perhaps harmless. I've emailed the developer, but they seem to respond only one email from one person in 24 hours. And you have to fill in a form to ask a full demo (which I've done).
Sorry to hear that. I can only describe what I do again (perhaps) more clearly. My whole iTunes folder is in a WD network drive and I've cloned this in another (USB) drive. And whenever I add some new albums to iTunes, as well as make some changes in my playlists etc. I use SFFS to update my other (USB backup) drive. It works.
The only working lyrics fetcher, but it doesn't save lyrics to tracks automatically or manually. (Mac OS X 10.5.8 PPC, iTunes library on a WD network drive.)
Brilliant; you don't have to open Mail.app or go to the webmail page, but I agree with ROBRECORD and add that the ability to send and receive attachments would be great.
Well... It truncates both incoming and outgoing messages. Developer doesn't responds my emails about this. It doesn't delete messages from the server. And really it's not necessary. Now I use Mail.app and Growl Mail. Much better and just a very little bit heavier on resources.
Current UI is very nice. Excellent app, no bloat, but without a contextual menu item to "Put in ..." it's not as easy to use as the excellent freeware, xPad. And there must be an option not to show delete confirmation. The price while very competitive is not awesome; we have xPad.

All the others are worthless in my experience.
