This latest version uses spyware-style tactics to get you to sign up for an "Internet Guide". This changes your DNS server settings, and blocks certain websites. Unacceptable if you ask me.

The setting is clearly marked and easy to disable (on startup or from the prefs later on), but this is something I expect on Windows apps. I've uninstalled it and migrated to a different solution...

the bandwidth functions work perfectly, but the signal strength is not displayed...but i was looking for bandwidth stuff mostly anyway...

i have a macbook and a vodafone branded huawei modem...

actually the signal strength works as well...it just takes a bit of time to update....

i still dont like the UI...it's better than it was, but still very non-standard.

although i have to say, this program still is the best alarm/fade app out there (as of now). but a more isync-like GUI would be better in my opinion...(it is already similar, but this maximize button just drives me nuts its so non-intuitive)...

seems to work fine now on 10.4.3. i still have not tested if it wakes my mac from sleep...i hope that feature has been or will soon be implemented...thanks...

i used to use itaf, but development on that one has stopped, and there are some problems with it...
