I'm not even talking about advanced features… just the BASIC things are worse. Quicken previously had the best, most elegant, and easiest to use check register, which only got better with every version up to 2007. Now it's a hassle to view, to enter any new information, and every new version of old functions (tags, auto-fill) is an eyesore that's smack in the middle of the interface, blocking my view and making input difficult. Reconcile only appears to work with a bank download, which I DON'T use because (like many I suspect) I'm not paying the monthly fee.
Nothing resembling the old Quicken at all… and I'd move to a shareware alternative except none of them can duplicate the elegance of the 2007 check register either.
