I've given up on this browser - this is the only piece of software (WebKitPlugInHost and Flash, specifically) that panics my machine on a regular basis. In fact, Safari/WebKitPluginHost has panicked my machine more in the last 6 months than anything else, on any of my macs, in the last 11 years... and I'm talking Gray Screen Of WTF here. Even a complete erase and clean reinstall of OS X didn't solve the issue.
The download link above is for the Intel version.
Go to SourceForge for the PPC versions.
Be aware that the latest builds do not support 10.4.
The latest version I could get to run was 2.9.0
1. Uncompress the archive.
2. In Terminal, issue the following commands:
cd
./mlnet &
3. Open your browser and point it to:
http://127.0.0.1:4080
Used to be my main editor until I started having to open large files on a network share - very slow and painful. TextWrangler ended up being more than twice as fast at opening the same file (by "opening" I mean bringing up the file and having the ability to scroll through all of the text without hanging).
GPU temp remains at 0 always. I do get a reading for GPU usage, however. Interestingly, when I first launch atMonitor I do see a GPU temp reading but it goes back down to 0 immediately and stays there.
iStat does display GPU temp correctly, so I'm wondering if this is a bug in atMonitor.
Safari (3.2.1) won't load Flash correctly with SafariStand installed.
Videos display "Plugin - click to load." even with "Load plug-in Manually" and "Site Alteration" unchecked. This problem started after installing, and then subsequently uninstalling Safari 4 beta.
Keeps "forgetting" the shell script I've specified to run for one of my zones (i.e., it's no longer visible in the configuration window after I've changed to a different zone and back again). Tried deleting PersistentStore.xml, tried opening up the permissions on the script, tried recreating the script - no dice.

That's it. In theory.

Anyone else see this behavior?
