SleepWatcher

Briand reviewed on 18 Feb 2012
This does exactly what I need and works well. Granted, it takes a bit of work to install and configure compared to GUI apps, but that shouldn't stop someone who needs such functionality to spend the time to work it out. However, if you'd rather use a GUI app, there's Scenario in the App Store. Many thanks to the developer for taking the time to create and share this useful utility.

What's to say? It does what it says cleanly and efficiently. The free version doesn't expire, so download and try it. Once you do, you'll know why I paid the $5 registration fee and gave it 5 stars.

FileZilla

Briand reviewed on 17 Nov 2010
If you're looking for a "Mac-Like" UI, this isn't it, look elsewhere. If you're looking for a fast, stable FTP client, this is it, click the download link now. I admit, I prefer looking at [omitted by author] compared to this un-Mac (and frankly, un-modern-Windows) UI, but I've had lots of stalls and hangs with [omitted by author] and no problems with FileZilla.

(Yes, I censored myself when I wrote [omitted by author]. I didn't write this review to call out problems with another FTP client, I simply wanted to give this one a good word. It's just worth noting that I've used a couple of other Mac FTP clients and found that this one works best, but it won't win any beauty contests.)
