OnyX
Brainiacd1 had trouble on 11 Jan 2010
I installed OnyX 2.1.3 in Mac OS 10.6.2 over OnyX 2.0.6 which I had from before I upgraded to Snow Leopard and tried to open Onyx. When I was prompted to enter my password, I tried my user password as well as the password for an administrator account (the account I usually use is not an administrator account). Both passwords failed. I tried repairing disk permissions as prompted by the OnyX dialog box, but this did not help. I have tried uninstalling OnyX and deleting the preference file as well, but OnyX still will not accept any of my passwords after I reinstall it.
[Version 2.1.3]
