BBEdit is by far the most mature and feature rich text editor on the Mac. It is more than worth the price Bare Bones charges. Especially since the price drop from $99 to $49 dollars. If it has any negatives. It would have to be the UI not being as modern as its competitors and having so many features it can be overwhelming. The positives are to numerous to mention. Overall? It's well worth your hard earned money.
