Freezes constantly, eats memory like it's air. I loved version 2, which inexplicably stopped working today, and had tried but continually uninstalled version 3 because it was so inelegant by comparison. I was amazed tonight to find that nothing had changed in more than a year. I guess development is either slowed or dead. Unless I can get 2 working again, looks like goodbye Geektool.

Everything about this program works great except for one big thing: The timer doesn't tick in the menu item. I can see it logging time properly when I look at the Get Info screen, and it displays the correct time when publishing completed items to iCal. But the menu item itself stays locked at 00:00:00. Meant to post this under Troubleshooting but can't find a way to edit/move it. Sorry about that.

Thanks Marc -- it worked. I appreciate the support.

One thing I did notice (as least on my side) is that the timer seems to still stay at 0 when I set the scope to Week (the others all work fine). It's no big deal to me with my current setup, but just FYI.

Great piece of software -- had it a day and even with the earlier issues it's already proved very useful.

Is there a known reason why this software only works some of the time without reason or pattern? When I type a snippet there's a 1 in 2 shot that TE won't do a thing. Not exactly what I paid for.

I noticed that, as of 4.1.3, when I double-click a file to edit it in TextWrangler, Transmit opens the page in the background instead of switching me to that program and opening the file in the foreground. I like to make a lot of quick edits all at once, and it's nice to save the step of switching applications each time I open a page. I'm not sure if this is a side effect of the TextWrangler/BBEdit blank window fix, but I'd certainly like to see the old method resurface (or at least an option to revert to 4.1.2's behavior) in the next revision.
