Go to System Preferences - Language & Text - Dates - Customize…
Click on a field, and write: Week, add some space, drag in the week number tag.

Click on menu-bar clock, and there you got your week number. This also shows in iCal.

Seems to me these actions could be obtained via Automator. Add functionality as you wish, just spend a few minutes to combine actions, and its free, home-brewed in a couple of minutes or so. Thats close to instant.

I vote that; apps organizing historical fantasies and myths for religious purposes, can not be listed at MacUpdate.

Apps with a historical/political angle are of the fruitful flavour.
