- or Macupdate users who are also enthusiastic about the application "ItubeX"

Is this software now more "windows"ware than shareware ?
At each launch, the 5.0.5 version checks (or installs missing) file "com.macupdate.desktop5.scanner.plist" in $HOME/Library/LaunchAgents/ directory, without any obvious way to control this obtrusive process within the Prefs of the application.
