Suffering from error 9000 when importing videos? Version 2.0.05 includes a workaround for a bug found in QuickTime X: When converting some videos with QuickTime X (using import methods 5, 6, 7 or 8) the VideoDrive import process would fail with error 9000 when the screen display goes to sleep. This is particularly applicable for videos that load into memory, including MKV and WMV files. This issue is also present in QuickTime 7.
We always publish release notes on our website and in the inline VideoDrive update mechanism. We have never released any update without accompanying notes. We are not responsible for the content of MacUpdate. MacUpdate automatically detects when we release a new version and updates its site. We have noted that on a regular basis the release notes are not included automatically. If we notice this, we manually update the MacUpdate listing. Please view the VideoDrive website (www.aroona.net) for any official news on our software. Additionally, if you require technical assistance or have further questions, feel free to contact Aroona Customer Support.
The current version of VideoDrive (version 1.6.3.03) is fully compatible with the newly released versions of iTunes 8 and QuickTime 7.5.5. Tiger users are advised to install VideoDrive 1.6.2 available at www.aroona.net.
