The avc1 decoder ( version 0.7.6 and 0.8.1) both still play H.264 way better than the recent Perian plugin, way less stuttering during pan-scenes. But since the Perian project you have discontinued this plugin... Any chance you could write a new version of this plugin ? I prefer this one to Perian, but it does causes QT crashes avery now and then.
