Shimo
Andik2000 had trouble on 24 Sep 2010
I have problems using the CiscoVPN with Snow-Leo in my office network. Connections to the local file server will crash or be slow while being connected to an external server via VPN (using UDP which is not supported by MacOSX).

Now i hoped Shimo will solve this problem - but after a test there are still network problems.
Filetransfer to a local file server (WIN 2003 Server) is very slow. Saving files from Photoshop to the fileserver is also slow and sometimes the files are destroyed.
If i cancel the connection, all works fine. Also OSX 10.5. runs without problems.

If i understand right, Shimo is just a GUI that uses the Cisco-Engine. Is there any chance that Shimo will become a standalone VPN client with its own engine?
[Version 2.2.3.1]
