The Unarchiver
Allanlibunao commented on 13 Jan 2010
Still the best, but now gets confused with files such as:

XYZZ.rar.001
XYZZ.rar.002
XYZZ.rar.003
...

Previously, it would correctly combine and unrar, but now falters.

(I just use Split&Concat before the final unrar'ing.)

But still the best.

@WAHA.06X36

I've filed a bug report and included sample files (~200kb combined) to help repro the issue I mentioned:

This is still my fav archive unpacker, thank you for your efforts.

Isolator
allanlibunao commented on 01 Mar 2007
However, this messes with the "view all windows" exposé functionality, whereby background apps need to be brought to the front before their windows show up when hitting F7.

This occurs with Isolator turned off in the menubar after using it, and this behavior sticks around after quiting Isolator altogether.

Saft

8.3.9 consistently crashes my safari.

going back to previous release (8.3.8) makes everything work again.

still acting Crashy McCrash-Crash on my MacBook Pro (running latest Tiger), unlike Saft 8.3.8

to be more specific, loading a saved session (on quit) after upgrading to 8.3.10 causes Safari's crash dialog to pop up in the middle of recoving my previous session (i.e. blank windows and tabs intermixed with some successful page retrievals).

:-(
