About Me I am a MacUpdate Desktop user
Gender: Male
It's getting more and more difficult to keep up with Macintosh software these days. I used to use Versiontracker, but then they went to the other side, too. Now Macupdate fills my need for up-to-date info about what's up...

This is for downloading German television programs. If you know the name of one of the shows that you'd like to watch on one of these stations, then you may find something to watch. This application does not appear to make suggestions at the start or to give you any browsing capability. You just have to know what you're searching for.
This is a vast improvement to Flash 8, interface-wise, at least. I've only been using it for a week or so, but have already noticed things that I definitely have wished for in past versions.
Just a couple of things that make this upgrade worth it:
"Native" Illustrator Importing - Ohmigosh, now I can pull an AI file in and Flash allows me to do all kinds of crazy stuff with it that I had never dreamed possible.
"Consistent" Adobe Interface - This is kinda minor, but it makes working with Flash so much easier for both one-screeners and two-screeners. Personally, I work on a PC and a Mac, and the PC version of Flash 8 had some seriously cool docking windows that I was always Jealous of. But now the Mac version rocks the way Bob Dylan did at the Royal Albert Hall in 1966.
Alright. Have fun and Flash safely.
I've been using Skype for over a year now on the Mac. I love the program and am looking forward to future versions. I have yet to have a single problem installing or running it on my iBook G4 or my MacBook Pro.
Admittedly, the PC version is extremely well ahead of the Mac version. The main thing that ticks me off there is that there is no video support for the Mac.
Doesn't it seem like there should be at least 1 program on the face of this planet that allows for easy video telephony between Apple and Windoze?
Not yet. But if Skype does it they will be the first! Good luck and do it fast or else you're ruin your chance at ruling the universe!
I haven't used this software in years. But now, when I have audio needs, I use Audacity, an open source audio editing app.
(Just for those of you complaining about price.)

I just clicked on the link and was immediately taken to my account page, since I already registered the product. Then from that page I was given the choice to download TechTool Deluxe updates. Which I did. It works.
TTD is not as feature-rich as TTP, which I own for one of my computers. TTD is on the other one. I've been using this for a long time and am very happy with it. I'm not sure what's up with your guys accounts. But give it another try.
Personally I love the new skin. I think it's sleaker and looks a thousand times better than "Brushed Metal" Eeeek.
As far as the interface, I like the new bigger display, where you see the time to go automatically on the right. I always switch back and forth between the two, and man is that ingenious (and practical) that they have it all in one now. Simple, practical update on that side.
The new, improved instant search does seem to be more instant than before. And I like being able to choose what types of media and in what text it should search.
This is definitely an improvement imo. I'm enjoying every minute of it.
Notice: These three reviews are all posted within a day of each other and are all the only posts from the users. Could all three possibly be the same person? Look at the amount of paragraphs, the spacing and even the sentence structure. Highly suspicious.
