Downloaded Lion update three times. Each time the dmg shows as corrupted when verifying. I wonder if Apple did not use the correct check-sum? Software update did not complain when using that method.
Did not work at all in Safari (but that is already stated (verson 5+). In Firefox, attempted the drag and drop on a page where I was logged in, but the only page printed was the login page and not the page I was viewing. I really do not see how this could be used to print receipts, for example.
I fail to see how installing a new version of iTunes on my Mac desktop will make my iPhone suddenly sync over the air better and/or connect to iCloud. Sounds like nonsense on the surface. What am I missing?
Hmmm, so as far as I can tell, I can already download the things I already purchased. So that feature is worthless. I thought the point of the cloud was NOT to download everything to your mobile and desktop but to have access to it anywhere. Now we have no choice but to download everything to ALL our devices? (Unless of course you do not have a 5G device... which is not even available yet). What I mean is this: if you have a < 4G device, you can already download anything you purchased AND you have control of what you do and do not download. If you get a 5G device you have no choice but to download everything and that is a wonderful new advantage?
Odd, I have two computers with iTunes 10.2 and I have all the music on both of them. Yes, I understand the issue with re-purchase, but that does not require the cloud, it requires Apple to not be so nasty about it. It does not require a whole new system, removing of old features like iWeb and iDisk, to accomplish THAT! Given the hideously slow bandwidth of mobileme, I have little confidence that this will be better, alas.
This looks interesting but no where on the developer's site nor the download nor here does it tell what it does in more detail than it 'tests your code'.
Note that this does not seem to work yet on Firefox 4. They do not list support for Firefox 4 either. Too bad. I used to use this extensively but have to revert to Firefox 3 to use. it.
After digging hard (their web site does NOT list firefox 4 compatibility) I discovered that you have to reinstall the plugin from 1password preferences in order for it to work correctly. The preferences looked like it was installed, the button was there, but it did not work until re-installing.
Tried installing. I have a WindowsXP client. It fails with a message about USB2 not available, install the Extensions Pack. I did so, now it will not launch the virtual machine at all.
I tried restoring from time machine and it still fails with a RTR3Init failure. So, I no no longer have it working even with the old version.
I got back to working by completely re-installing 3.2.12, deleting the old Library/VirtualBox folder, which the reinstall cleans out, and restoring from TimeMachine.
The developer was very responsive to a number of important issues, even over the weekend and into the evenings, dealing with an old Windows ftp server (Titan) with wacko dates and modes. In just a day of exchanges, he patched it to work perfectly. Could not ask for more. Some of the menus are a little hard to find at first, that is the only reason for the 4/5 for ease of use. Value might be higher but once you click on a star you cannot change it... bad UI for MacUpdate.
