No, I bought it direct from their website.

Since there is no "Buy from the Mac App Store" link here, the price listed here is wrong...

It's $10 for the exact same app! :(

Just go to purchase from within the app

@Cgc

I'm not a total idiot.

When originally posted, the price listed here was $5. Since I complained the MacUpdate staff corrected the pricing.

Thanks

10.7 requirement : Please, show me the fantastic new features in ForkLift 2.5 that are only possible in Lion. As far as I can tell it is only a requirement because the programming APIs available made it easier for the developer, nothing more. Transmit, for example, works in 10.5 and up, and their UI is regarded as the best available.

Support : Where is the update to 2.0.x to fix all the bugs users have reported? The 2.0.8 version was released almost a year ago. Forcing everyone to go to Lion to get an update to fix bugs is not acceptable. Assuming of course that 2.5 will be a free update? If it's a paid upgrade I would be steaming mad.

That is a very un-pleasant accusation you're making my friend, I hope it is meant to be a joke? I am free to post my opinions on any app I choose, but I use FTP a lot, so of course I use ForkLift and other apps too. Each has their merits. I have tried and have licenses for all the main FTP apps, so I tried your new one too, but it's for Lion only and you still didn't answer why. I use Snow Leopard. It is a free update that I can't use. Thanks.

I'm not surprised the developer is too embarrassed to update this page to reflect the 1.4 (and 1.4.1 and 1.4.2) versions that he released.

He removed SFTP, WebDAV and S3 support and re-wrote FTP support. The result? It's even worse than v1.3.4

Oh, and he increased the price to $30

What a joker
