This is by far the fastest I've tested so far over the years. This thing gets the job done _litterally 100 times faster_ than any other client I've tried.
I don't care if it has ads, I don't care doesn't have a lot of nice features - this thing gets the job done, it does it fast, and that's all that matters.
Been playing this almost every day for half a year now, and it's as addictive as ever.
It takes a few days to get the hang of things, but from there it's a blast, the possibilities and challenges never end. Totally awesome!
VLC is good in one way: It plays almost anything!
However I do miss the option to export files in a way that I can understand. I tried several settings, but I just don't get it.
I did manage to rip stuff off TV broadcasts over IP, but I can't export it into a format that Quicktime/iMovie/Final Cut can understand.
The k750 grabber thats included in this download is no longer necessary as tiger 10.4.2 supports k750 without having a kernel panic when disconnecting the USB cable.
Btw, Dreamsicle is incredibly slow for some with my k750i reason (trial mode?), it generates a ton of unwanted folders and frankly it should be free.

This app is turning into an absolute killer, and I can hardly wait to take it live.
It's got almost all the features one can wish for and it's easy to use.
Also the integration with iTunes is great!
Once installed on my G5 dual 1.8Ghz the thing took for ever to open. And even if you get it started the whole way of working with Poser is a pain in a certain place where the sun rarely shines.
The GUI is very mid 90s "innovative". It works in a way, but it's very cluttered and takes up too much screen real estate.
The file structure is a total disaster and installing new files, and finding them, is a test of patience.
Poser 6 is also very unstable, unresponsive and slow, and should never have been released in this state. It's hardly even a beta.
This is all a pity, because Poser is a lot of fun - or rather it used to be, therefore I'll stick to Poser 5. Buying Poser 6 is a total vaste of money.
