New to this, please forgive the discussion of multiple software apps here - I'm using Mac DVD Ripper Pro to rip, then using HandBrake to encode, everything seems to work great (so far I have both programs set to default settings, I have HandBrake outputting to a H.264 MP4 file) - then I have Roxio Toast to burn the backup DVD. Ripping and encoding seem to progress quick enough, but the Toast program is now telling me it's 'encoding' as well, and taking forEVer. Isn't 'encoding' what HandBrake already did? Why is Toast telling me it's also encoding? Any recommendations, or is this correct?
