For me this application is weird. I lost my mouse and had to resort to using the arrow keys to navigate my way round and then i was lock on some settings page and could not get back and had to resort to QUIT. This application may be great if you are a gamer or this generation of device users using their thumb to navigate but not for a simple point and click Mac Guy here.
My comment is about trying to join Alfred's forum. Their captcha is ridiculous for someone like me with visibility difficulties and the audio clues were recorded in outer space with a two dollar mic. Also their registration question is beyond bizarre. Please "team" it's only a forum not entry into Fort Knok.
After downloading what next? This is not for your average mac user whereby you simple double click and application. It looks like you need to have "terminal" skills. The programmers information on his website are in the true Mac programmers tradition: very cryptic. Now I understand its free and so...
It's a shame they can't allow a download on the traditional Mac try before you buys. Guess they ain't going to gets me 80 bucks. So my review for that is negative 10.
"Download" does not seem to work. Visit developers site does not seem to work. (I've had no internet problems with other sites.) Excuse me as the extremely low ratings only because i can't get the application to download and take it out for a drive.
Rayj, how do i do that because when ever i make a posting it wants a rating before it will post my comments ? However, is the download now available ?
@Neutralzone replied on 01 Jul 2014, Perhaps the MacUpdate team could make that more obvious by clearing showing those three options. Why hide those three choices and have myself and other "commenter's" being embarrassed when we are lambasted for our comments and at the same time handing out a bad rating ?
50 bucks ??? No way. How about 10 or less bucks since it's being sold at the Apple Store. So for now I will give you a very low score because you don't want to give us a chance to try it out for let's say about 5 conversions. Who would pay 50 bucks for something they really don't know that it works for them ?
Small/Big beef: $20 bucks to upgrade ? Common man be a little kinder to the people that bought version 3, 4, 5 by upgrading. For me $20 bucks is a bit much especially since most of us don't know what the new OS X will offer. I'm sure some cracked version will come along soon.
@Mrtomato replied on 11 Jun 2014, Of course I jest in fact shortly after my posting I spent the $20 because the app is really great. Also I give the developer one hundred per cent credit for releasing the app on a trial basis for 30 days and some nagging after if you don't buy it and are prepared to live with those nag nag nag pop up screens. What the heck, my boss nags me so I'm used to it.
It's a very intimidating program. When launched it takes over the entire screen and does not offer the user to use a "windowed" version. Also it's not really Mac intuitive. I was hunting all over the apple menu bar trying to set this up. Very frustrating as a self teaching tool for Piano. Therefore not worth the $29 plus US exchange for me. Albeit, it's generous of the developer to offer a free trial version.
That's odd. I visited the developers web site as invited to so do. However there was no sample ( not even one sample ) of the samples they are selling for $40. Although MR MAGOO does have eye troubles. Perhaps there was a sample to sample. Of course we visited the AppleGate Store and no samples. Common guys let's hear at least a couple of your very best works, or maybe there not so good ? That's odd.
Too bad their updater does not work as it should! For me it's a must have application because I am paranoid about who is trying to get into my computer or who wants to know what I am doing.
