How is this different from using command+tilde? (Not tilde but the character that is on the key the tilde is on.)

WOW! Simply, wow. I've tried all sorts of solutions, even thought I'fd found one or two over the years that was, for a time, sure to be the solution for me. This little application fixes all the shortcomings of the others. It now has the ability to save the lyrics into iTunes. It has a plethora of lyrics sites (13 at this writing) available at the bottom of the window. User can control appearance in many ways. One feature needed: the ability to have (via a preference tick) it start when iTunes does. Actually I'd prefer the reverse, to start iTunes if this app is started as there might be times when you just need to fire up iTunes for a quick thing. Meh, I have a script for such things when I want the full experience (iTunes, You Control, Sizzling Keys, and now this one).

What the heck?! Under mavericks the high CPU usage is no longer an issuer? Anyone else seeing it behave better?

v1.1 for Mavericks is available on their site. YMMV. It's making Safari a bit active and a couple other apps which I admit haven't been updated yet.

Did this stuff work in pre-Mavericks Flavours, joaoa8863?

What a shame. The most featured NNTP app ever has finally died (no good here either on Mavericks). I have routinely tried all the rest/newcomers, have even fallen in love with one, but nothing could match the feature set for my use.

Working here on Mavericks! I did not test Permissions as I haven't trusted that in several versions. But all other functions looked perfectly fine.

I stupidly thought this was a simple copy/paste gimmick. Silly me. All the good points made so far are true. I used it for less than a few minutes and saw it's value SO far beyond copy/paste. Note: That was before I started taking advantage of extensions! As for Firefox? YMMV but I have no problems so far. The idea that you can do it's stuff for free is so short-sighted. Whether you're a keyboard maestro or a right-click guru, the app + extensions is an elegant time & energy saver for such a modest cost. The popup which is sometimes unnecessary? You quickly adapt. Plus, it goes away with a mouse move away from the popup. In fact, I'm not sure I wouldn't like it to stick around a bit, just in case. The developer? As responsive and accommodating as any. I am making it a point to explore his other work. Documentation on site is concise and complete. 5 stars easy.

You have an actual website. Many developed offer trials hosted elsewhere besides MAS.

No crashing on 10.8.4. Does stay open without holding the command key. Does not release RAM soon enough for my liking.
