This is a really easy to use and flexible application that can handle AIFC formats as well as others. So far, this is the best application I have found for general audio conversion on the fly.
This application is easy enough to use, however it needs more conversion types, for example, it can not handle the AIFC file format that is common to OSX.
This latest version has completely ruined my older presentations. They will not even open on the iPad! This is a serious problem if one can not open presentations on an iPad!
I fixed this problem by reinstalling Keynote on the iPad and re-importing the presentations. Geez!
The change in the application layout is still not helpful, as mentioned by several other reviewers though.
Up until 6.7.2, this application has worked under 10.6.8, however, with both versions 6.7.3 and 6.7.4, the software no longer functions; it bombs. This is not good news. Either the developer needs to declare 6.7.2 to be the end of support for OSX 10.6.8 or a remedy is needed.
DiskAid 6.7.3 bombs in OSX 10.6.8, period.
This software functions well enough and has interesting features but there is a big CAVEAT EMPTOR here - the user can use this for one month and then, if you want to make new slides, you must pay a subscription fee. If you decide to quit paying, you will need to export all of your work to PDF files or you will have your files deleted and lose the ability to edit your work. I would never recommend having my company's work held hostage in this manner, thus we have no plans to use any subscription software.
P.S. Here is another problem with using this software: Even if you sign up initially with a "free" educational account that supposedly allows a teacher or student to use this software for free, there is STILL a 30-day trial period at the end of which your use of prezi is no longer free. This is contradictory to what is advertised on their site and is nothing but a bait&switch tactics.
Though the price listed here is .99, in appstore, they list it as 2.99 USD! This should be corrected.
This is a most excellent bit of software in both flexibility and design. Unlike other "mind-mapping" software, it is easy to use. Maybe I would have called this "foolscap" instead of "Scapple", but it is a must-buy for me.
Flash freezes and stops when moving around within a flash movie. If I look at several flash movies, the browser will often become unresponsive for minutes at a time, forcing me force quit the browser. This software is buggy and not reliable.
This software can not handle Google map data very well and the free map is of little value. It also demands a system-level password for installation and removal – something that is not appropriate at all.
