So no version of iOS 7 for iPad yet?
I have a 3rd-gen iPad (retina) with iOS 6.1.2. I don't have to update to 6.1.3 first, do I?
I don't know why, but my third-gen retina iPad still encourages me to update to iOS 6.1.3 (from 6.1.2)!
Something is wrong. The .dmg download completes much too fast, and the file won't mount.
Now it's working
Here's what I'd like to know. It used to be (pre-iOS 5) that simply updating, as opposed to "restoring" a firmware update, would eat 500 MB of storage space every time. Is this true of OTA updates since iOS 5?
How does this compare to VueScan?
How is this better than Skitch?
Overpriced and mediocre
Is this update a joke? Text in Word looks no different -- and "Open in low resolution" is still checked and grayed out in "Get Info," so the OS isn't recognizing this as a high-res app. Oh, I'll bet I have to log out and then in again to get the system to recognize the update.
We recently noticed something weird with my wife's 13" MacBook Air (mid-2012) where every time it was woken from sleep, it would take 10 seconds or more for it to accept input from the Magic Mouse and keyboard. Thought something might have been wrong, and after some internet searches, I ran Software Update on a whim, and it turned up the SMC update 1.5. Saw that it fixes several sleep/wake issues, and sure enough, after installing it, the problem was gone!
This has never been a viable email client, and it most probably never will be.
