I do this with ControlPlane (free) based on location - when I arrive it auto mounts my network drives.
Just $9.99 until July 17.
I normally use File Synchronization for more complex backups, but for the iPhoto Library export with dated folder and event sorting feature and only $1.99 - great little utility.
Crashed on startup - Crash Report sent to developer.
email@example.com email on wed site does not work - bounces firstname.lastname@example.org seems to work
This seems to work. Since the developer has given it over to the community. Link from the community : https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/522679/Scripting/MacDropUpdate.zip

I'm, on 2.3.9 (1742) - MU seems to have missed a few updates.
The software is functional and I've been using it since it was βeta, quite a few years ago. I originally pointed them to a source of MAC: Vendor codes and they immediately implemented them, making it very useful. The MAC: Vendor list implementation is not not being maintained or updated in this app. I have raised 2 support tickets with them and nothing is done. It is not difficult to access MAC:Vendor lists online - and trivial to incorporate. WIFi Explorer, for example is (at this time), fully upto date.
Free. Very handy utility for managing projects across different hard drives, even better, it handles offline drives. 1 star off - when trying to open and install the app - Mavericks gives the "Event Manager X" was blocked from opening because it is not from an identified developer" warning. Free.
Larry Jordan gave a good overview - http://www.larryjordan.biz/intelligent-assistance-event-manager-x/
Seems like the same logos as his other app - https://itunes.apple.com/se/app/logo-store-for-adobe-photoshop/id454258123?l=en&mt=12 Which is a viewer/store - you can then have a look at the logos and decide if you want them.
