Probably want to give the relevant driver version. 8.27.26 is near pointless. What matters is the R334.x.x info as that's nvidia's versioning.

I just love how apple discretely fails to admit that 10.9.4 fixes a slew of instability issues that 10.9.3 introduced to Mac Pro 2013. In fact 10.9.3 was so unstable and bad that games, pro apps, etc all crashed repeatedly and were unusable and several news sites did articles on how 10.9.3 was a disaster and apple provided no support to their pro users for the failure of an update. Many were forced to revert to 10.9.2. 10.9.4 fixes all these bugs of course but so much later than it should have taken and with no mention or admission from apple they ever screwed up in first place. Anyways, if you have a 2013 mac pro. Yes 10.9.4 is safe. You can stop your 10.9.2 holdout now. If you are actually on 10.9.3, you can rejoice that many of your programs will now work again.

Every update is progress, but still unusable as it still won't open compressed rom files other emulators can. My entire genesis collection is in .bin compression format and openemu can't even touch those. It shows games in library but they don't even remotely open. Same problem with GBA. Most of those roms it won't even show in library at all. Again those roms work perfectly in any bannister emulator just fine. It seems a lot more work really needs to be done to ensure this emulator can recognize compressed roms or roms with or without headers.

Does 1.0.3 fix ability to read several rom formats it didn't recognize before? I still have large rom collections it doesn't recognize. Roms can be sort of a mess. compressed, uncompressed. Header, no header. However, my rom collection are all uniform. I ram them all through program to ensure they are all the same. However several systems are hit or miss for me still. Roms that open fine in any other emulator. :\

Thank you macupdate for providing your own stand alone update when apple fails to do so. I have multiple machines to deploy on and I think it's deplorable that apple no longer does proper stand alone safari updates.

download has failed twice already. Does anyone have any none craptunes download links? Itunes doesn't even support resumable downloads or pausing without starting entire thing over again. Considering apple doesn't even know how to release DELTA updates and makes you always download whole OS as is, it being not resumable is far worse. at least with an HTTP download it might be resumable as long as you do NOT use an apple browser (cause safari rarely supports resuming either when chrome does).

Has potential, but needs more work. Does not read compressed roms at all. I had to uncompress snes roms for it to read them. Cheat system could use more work so you can actually search for cheats instead of just enter them. The copy your entire library thing to another folder is terrible. Just because apple did it, doesn't mean it's good. It can be disabled but the fact it's even a default (like it was in itunes) is dispicable. I like my roms folders as is. All of those asking why it doesn't have nintendo 64. It's not open source like the other emulators this thing deploys with. SixtyForce is commercial and likely isn't going to be supported any time soon. This open source multi emulator is basically a mac itunes gui thrown on all the open source projects combined. It's not a new emulator core at all.

Philo, it's not a negative or low review. Listing caveats is not negativity. I'm sorry if i don't rate something perfectly that still needs work. Headrush, roms are in correct format. it does not read compressed SNES roms in standard bin format that all other emulators can open and support. These are clean dumped properly compressed roms too that I've had since the bannister days of Rom organizer (the tool that actually properly compressed them).

Just adding a note that 10.9 also uses this package. it's actually for 10.7, 10.8, and 10.9. This update showed up in software update on 10.9GM

Great, if you are content with .mov files you can never make mp4. evocam records audio track with wrong AudioType which means attempt to convert to mp4 with a pass through filter will result in an unusuable mp4 in just about ANY player out there. without an option to record videos UNCOMPRESSED means that there is NO WAY to avoid this bad recording code. you can MAYBE generate an mp4 using a non passthrough but it's compressing file a second time which degrades video further. if this app could record UNCOMPRESSED like old version it wouldn' be so bad.

Skype 6.4 now available http://blogs.skype.com/2013/05/15/skype-6-4-for-mac-with-easier-to-use-instant-messaging/ FYI, it STILL doesn't support lync. Still stuck with MSN messenger 8.0.1 for a bit longer. :(
