Love this app! It has been my RSS reader for quite sometime now since adding the "View As Web Page" option. However, beta 12 & 13 have an annoying issue. I have my view layout set to "Condensed". In these last 2 betas the Headlines list for any particular feed is off. It's hard to explain but the headline for unread articles usually has a blue dot beside it, but the headline does no longer sit beside the blue dot, but rather above it slightly. So the top headline is halfway hidden by the top "Headlines" menubar. Have reverted back to Beta 11 for now. Will check back to see if Beta 14 will fix this issue. However, this program is solid and gets 5 stars.
What is called "Condensed" is now called "Vertical". Behaviour is still present in this beta. Have trashed preferences and installed fresh, no change. Seems to only do it in the vertical layout though.
This issue has been fixed with the release of Beta 20.
This is an incredible piece of free software. I recently had a couple of MRI's and when I found out I could get the scans on disk I was excited to see them. But the disk came with Windoze viewers which were no good. An immediate scan of the web brought me to Osirix. Never had any issues with this program ever. Solid. Many thanks for keeping a free version going.
Never without this app! Developer is doing a great job on a useful piece of free software!
This is a very dangerous program. As with anything, make sure you have a recent backup of everything, you may need it. I installed this program onto Mountain Lion and decided to remove the unwanted language files, not including English. The program seemed to run fine and removed over 1GB of these files from the system and apps. However the disk space party turned ugly very quickly. Apps that previously launched fine were crashing over and over and the system kernel panicked. After permissions repairs and reboots, the effort was wasted. Had to completely restore Mountain Lion. I just don't think the space savings is really worth it, and I cannot recommend this app.
Glad to see the good work kept up on this very valuable Mac app! I am never without MPlayerX on my machine. Solid and reliable. And the icon really isn't that bad, c'mon...
My favourite extension by far. A must have for anyone who surfs the more popular picture sites. Keep up the great work!
Thank you for updating my favourite RSS reader! I can now ditch the rest and go back to the best. I don't agree with some people who say that this app needs Reader integration to stay alive, it does not. This is a fast parsing RSS reader that sits on the menubar and does exactly what it is supposed to do. I, for one, do not need to bring the big "G" into the equation for my RSS feeds. Thank you for making a quality piece of free software.
I've been all over the place with RSS readers. Vienna, NNW, RSSMenu and Gruml. All of them have their own ups and downs, but I prefer to have a standalone reader where I add the RSS feeds to it, and thats it. I don't need to add Google to the equation. So I have since come back to Vienna with the 2.6 preview release and that they have added full web page feed views to this preview. Much better than wasting all that screen real estate for a lame little snippet of the article, and then having to switch to a browser to view it. This works awesome, and I have no reason to ever leave Vienna again. Thank you for a quality piece of free software.
I absolutely love this IRC app! It has every feature that I require, but showing images inline in the chat window is a truly killer feature. Friends post a lot of picture links, some good, some lame, and being able to preview them before clicking the links is just sweet. Keep up the good work, and thank you for a quality piece of free software.
Been using this app since it first came out, and ever since then, it was exactly what I was looking for in a NZB client. Recently with the 2.0.+ release, I found a small bug and emailed the developer with the info and crash log. The developer responded almost immediately (it was quick anyhow) and released an updated point version the next day with the fix. If only all developers paid such attention to their users. The only downside is that the price has increased since I purchased, but I will say the developer keeps adding useful features and has been prompt in answering emails.
