MBP, MacOS 10.6.8. v31.0 has been released. I always start up with a blank page but, guess what, my 'blank page', in v31.0 is now a Google search bar. Mozilla have sold out.
I have just downloaded v 31.0 and I correct myself. The start up blank page is indeed a blank page, it is every new tab which is a Google search bar.
I am in England so I must have seen it before you. I did keep checking after seeing the updates to TenFourFox!
I can't get rid of the search bar in every new tab, though.
You are right, I missed the, 'enhancement'.
I deliberately do not use Google but it must have migrated itself to the top of available search engines. Unfortunately, DuckDuckGo does not work every well in the UK, not unless I want to buy something from the US!
All search engines except one are now deleted but I am sure I am not the only one wondering why this, 'new feature', was deemed an upgrade.
It says only 5C and 5S but my outdated iPhone 5 :o) says 'an update available' and downloaded without any problems.
It is 'Free' but you have to pay before you get any scores. I shall use the BBC web site, thank you http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/world-cup/2014/schedule/group-stage
I agree with Bb553. This was always a pain in the neck as it did not run in the background but at least it wiped one's internet history. Now they have tried to change it into CleanMyMac, or similar, at the cost of $30. Avoid.
How can v11.8.800.64 (however ridiculous the numbering might be) be the stable version and v11.8.800.50 be the beta version?
v21.0 has now been released. It will catch up with my age in a month or two!
I have used v9 for several years; they now want the GBP equivalent of USD 49.95 to 'upgrade'. Ridiculous.
Wait for another update : http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/apple/9870536/Passcode-hack-lets-thieves-unlock-Apple-iPhones.html
With all due respect, I fail to see what a vulnerability on the Passcode has to do with batteries. I you are a lady then I can understand your concern with batteries …
Does the security issue with Firefox v16 also affect Thunderbird? There has also been a bug since v13.01 whereby an unsent email, because of ISP problems, then goes to the 'Sent' Folder.
