Feels like I'm using a 300-baud modem when downloading the update. I have 40mbs download speed, and a 24 megabyte file is taking about 20 minutes to download.
This is absolutely one of my favorite Mac utilities EVER... when it works. It seems that every installation I've done with the next new version of FinderPop, it works for a while, and then completely stops working. There seems to be nothing I can do to get it working again. To be fair, I do not know if this is a problem solely with FinderPop, or if another utility is somehow interfering. But I love FinderPop so much that I'm going to install it again! :-)
The money I make each month from graphic design and photography easily pays for $29 I spend for CC. There was no way my firm was going to budget for all these apps individually, so getting the video editing and creation products was a nice bonus. The rental model is not for everyone however, but in my case it was the best solution. And having access to a lot of the Adobe type library is cool.
An unforgivable resource hog. Since when does a browser need nearly 3 gigs of RAM with just a few add-ons loaded? At any given time, it's using more RAM than Photoshop CC. That is just stupid.
I'll take this "hideous" interface over Chrome any day. I think the interface is just fine, and it's easily customizable if you don't like it as it ships. The BIGGEST reason I prefer Firefox over Chrome? With the exact same plugins installed, Firefox is using about 250 megs of RAM, while Chrome is using 2 gigs of RAM! No thank you.
It bothers me that: 1) this is at version 2.0, yet I have yet to see a single comment/rating on any previous versions; 2) It makes a blanket statement that it can recover ALL of your files. No other data rescue software would dare make that claim; 3) There's a major spelling mistake in the screenshot (partittion).kioj
Interesting that 4.0 is being announced here, and I already have 4.1 on my iMac.
Oops, I meant 8.0 announced, and 8.1 on my iMac. Still early in the morning for me!
Voice2Email - "Free" costs $9.99? That just doesn't make sense to me.
Looks like someone from MacUpdate corrected the title. Thank you!
My ONLY complaint is that it can't update itself. Downloading the entire app and replacing the old version with the new version is ever-so-slightly irrating. Other thant this minor gripe, it's my favorite video player on the Mac platform.
Every time I try to log in now, I get the following message: " Sorry, that key does not appear to be valid." Then I try to change the password, and I still get the same message.
