Utterly fantastic utility application. It is the gold standard No meaningful competition.
Only the version no. is unjustified. Hard to improve upon a masterpiece. Version should be 9.1.0
AWESOME. Hardly changed from v.9 but still the absolute best utility of its kind.
Note to developer and the rest of us: OS X 10.8 "Mountain Lion" is due to be released imminently, but this application is incompatible with 10.8
Not a polished Application. I have yet to find a means of removing an e-book (including duplicates) that are in its library !
Truly excellent, but not yet compatible with OS X 10.8 I suspect that "Mountain Lion" will be ready for the "rest of us" shortly.
Just plain dreadful. Lacks aesthetics. Just a come-on for selling templates.
Under OS X 7.1 Little Snitch does not install / function: The system extension “/System/Library/Extensions/ElmediaPlayer.kext” was installed improperly and cannot be used. Please try reinstalling it, or contact the product’s vendor for an update.
This is very poor. BGBlitz is the Gold Standard. It is incomparable.
Crashes each time AFTER running all day long. The task assigned was to list duplicates in a ¾ empty 1 TB (boot) hard drive.
I finally got it to run to completion, but there are oddities and complaints. Firstly, it did NOT just scan the volume thatI selected - it scanned an external HD as well. That partially explains the absurdly glacial pace. The biggest problem is that this is a virtually featureless application. It does not create a text file to save, it has no ability to delete files. etc. etc.
Note: There is a delete button, but mine remains grayed out while selecting a listed file.
Please ignore my last comment re: the delete button. Indeed it does work. I failed to tick the checkboxes. Highlighting the files was not sufficient to the task.
I am really angry about buying software that I have grown dependent on and then having it yanked out from under me. 'This is not an issue of BUYING something that becomes obsolete but a matter of a GREAT product that the developer has NO intention of updating. WQHY NOT ?
