I love the new 6.0 Interface. It works like a charm on my 2007 iMac. The old version used to crash every other week and download the same programs over and over again but not so with 6.0. I still get the spinning Beach-ball for five seconds at start-up but I know believe my old mac has been corrupt since the Mavericks Install for some strange reason and I probably need to do a complete reboot from the cloud anyway. I'm sorry to read some Mac-update users are having trouble but I'm sure that by 6.3 or 6.4 MacUpdate will fix most of your problems. I for one HATE the CRAPPLE store with Its censorship and purposely broken Rip-off software and thank god we still have MacUpdate that tolerates freedom of speech from Its users. (Sorry to go off on a rant but I gave a positive review to a product In the Crapple store and they sent me a threatening generic email stating I'd somehow Violated their crazy mac code of conduct and would be banned from writing reviews If I did It again)! I wrote back several times asking them what I had done wrong Totally shocked ? Apple refused to respond to my requests.)

Been using NeoOffice for about 3 years without a hitch until It stared acting buggy a few months ago. Low and behold they come out with an iStore 64Bit Only version last week for $30 bucks that fixes those darn slow bugs but at a price. Still would have rated Neooffice 5 Stars Instead of 4 If they Hadn't chosen to the road to greed but ever since Apple ruined It's own Office suite in Its last updates I do consider NeoOffice a bargain at $30.00 dollars for software that's reliable and easier to use than Apples crap!

Thanks for the sound advice GeorgiaM9886 but I panicked and switched to the Apple store version. I'm glad to read the semi free $10.00 donation version has been fixed and that they didn't just sell out. I'm glad I was wrong. There should be some way of editing reviews like mine on MacUpdate. I find It very frustrating that I can't. I don't want other users to think I'm dishonest. ARE YOU LISTENING MACUPDATE? PLEASE FIX THIS SO I MAY GIVE NEOOFFICE THE 5 STARS IT DESERVES!

Been using xAct for over 10 years and highly recommend this free powerful program to all. IMHO xAct is way better than most paid apps I've tried.

I've been using Mellel for years and really appreciate the free of charge updates! It's also very well written stable software. I've yet to find a perfect word processor program for mac but Mellel Is at the top of my list.

Have been a die hard Firefox user since before switching to mac from Windblows. But am concerned with mozilla's terrible customer support and releasing faulty versions lately that crash and hang. I pray this gets fixed as I don't want to use safari or opera substandard browsers.

Just want to thank the kind person who emailed me the Firefox downgrade software access link earlier this week. I wanted to thank yo sooner but was unable to reach MacUpdate due to ongoing 27.0.1 constantly crashing but just now I've seemed to have discovered a temporary solution. I used the free program iBoostup which scanned my Internet setting and suggested I make some subtle changes to my Macs Intranet DNS settings. I just did as suggested and walla Firefox just stopped crashing! I'm so grateful right now.

Have been using about a year with paid subscription and had a lot of trouble with older version until they upgraded it for mac 4 months ago. now it works better but recently my Firefox browser started crashing during closing so I ran it in safe mode and that fixed it but when I started HotSpot Shield and turned it off before closing Firefox the problem came right back so It's HotSpot that's causing that's preventing Firefox from closing! Hotspot's tech help is atrocious so don't even bother to email them they want you to do all the work before they'll lift a finger to help. Something I hate about them is they attempt to censor/block webpages that they deem dangerous or phishing & that's nice for newbies and kids but I don't want a net nanny with a vpn service and there's no way to turn that service off! Bottom line Hotspot Shield is only good for newbies who don't know what they're doing or windows users. Otherwise It's an unstable mess that should be avoided at all costs.

I just got word that Koingo Software is selling Macpilot 6 and MacCleanse 4 to a new company and Discontinuing these products for 2014 according to its new CEO Thomas Anthony in a newsletter sent to to me! So MacUpdate was correct all along to advise its customers not to do business with Koingo Software. I'm glad I didn't drink the the Macpilot 6 koolaid in late 2013 and waste more $$. I wish I could say the same for MacCleanse 4!

I purchased this a few months back after having major trouble with Sophos and and a few other mac antivirus programs finding viruses and not doing anything about them! Intego is constantly crashing my entire 2007 iMac with Mavericks. Even though I turn off the the damn auto scan Intego antivirus Ignores Its own commands and continues to automatically scan my mac once a month and when it does the whole system crashes! This App is an Abysmal failure! I can't believe I paid for this CRAP!

I've been using OnyX for 5 years and only had a few start-up problems with OSX 10.8 that went away completely after a few restarts. OnyX has saved me tons of headaches and $$$ with crazy OSX bugs that elude other utilities. Highly recommended! Do however read the Help files that come with OnyX as they are essential to the proper operation of OnyX especially for newbies.
