Little Snitch is a superb app, which I would recommend. Just a couple of issues though, I did find since installing a recent version some occasional stability issues which were not present before the installation. E.g occasional stubbornness to wake from sleep, problems with USB. Also there is a question, which may be answered somewhere, of what data Little Snitch itself is sending back to base. The PC, and now smartphone world is rife with applications claiming to 'clean and protect your system' yet those same apps are gathering data and sending it back to base. Is for example LS gathering data of outgoing connections and sending them somewhere ?
"The following disk images couldn't be opened: Opera...blah Reason: not recognized"
Good. Does what it says on the tin, but it's damn ugly. Looks like a straight port from Linux written in gtk. Ugly, ugly, ugly. Couldn't imaging paying for an upgraded version of a gtk app.
A good idea but badly produced. There are times when it is impossible to understand the word the voice says. So you waste time typing what you thought it said. Using your own dictionary isn't a great idea, should use the Mac's built in one. The word tormentor is incorrect. It's not 'tormenter'.
"GPG services was signed with an invalid certificate. This package might not install what you expect..."
why is this a paid for app ? Every system does this anyway. Copy and paste into Text Edit and hit Apple Shift T
ugly garbage./ can't resume failed download
ugly garbage. And can't' resume failed download to boot. Come on, this novel 'innovation' was conquered years ago.
Mozilla spent years kissing Google's backside only to be spat on eventually with Chrome, which is an even uglier manifestation of the same problem. It's a war of ugly clunky non-native free Winux browsers that don't actually belong on a Mac. Firefox has to keep endlessly inflating its version number as a strategy: with worthless new 'features' like import Chrome bookmarks. Don't worry Chrome sucks big time, as Google couldn't make attractive software if their lives depended on it, you're safe FF.
Always been a great app. Works well
