"Free" is not the same thing a "demo". My feelings are that if a product has an asking price of $7.99, and you have a short time to try out the program (a demo period), then shouldn't it be called a demo. i.e., try before you buy? If you use the term "free," folks expect the program to be offered at no charge. Personally I have no problem with demos, in fact I prefer them. And no one has a problem with a "free" application. But you should pick one or the other, so as not to misrepresent the program. People hate feeling "duped" – even if it was not intentionally done. I'm not picking on the developer; I'm offering my opinion; having been on the site for over 15 years has taught me a few fundamental things. I'm passing one of them along to save everyone from becoming upset, flaming, etc. The cost to own this program is $7.99. You have a short time to demo, or try it out, to see if it is going to be useful to you. Thanks for listening. Respectfully, Annie
Love this simple little app. Works flawlessly. Developer is quick to reply, very thoughtful, helpful and actually cares about his customers; (even at these highly affordable prices). If you're at all like many of my friends and I, you'll probably find yourself using it much more than you may have anticipated when you first bought it. Great thing CAN come in small packages. ;-) Highly recommended!
Where is this list suppose to appear? I can't find anything related to this program on my drive. Thanks ;-)
Developer took care of everything. Great app, great service; very happy! ;-)
I can't be certain, of course, but I have watched this young developer since his first post. I've used his application, which I like very much. I've taken note of his humility in many posts where he was being attacked. I do not wish to oppose anyone who has proof that he reviews his own software; but it would not be in keeping with his conduct on this forum to date. Please, be certain you're correct; as you could hurt this young man, both professionally, and personally with your words and accusations. I don't pretend to know the truth here, but I'm asking out of compassion, that we don't harm him unnecessarily. Again, up to this point he has not demonstrated any behavior that would lead me to believe he is reviewing his own work. If I'm wrong, I apologize in advance to anyone who might take issue with my post. Please –– can we not give him the benefit of the doubt? Thanks for listening... Annie P.S. It's just that I've been pulling for him from the beginning, as you can see in my review of his program on May 29, 2013.
This is one fine & useful program. Last week it showed me a hidden keylogger (Spector) from 2003, in a folder it created, called StartItems; it was using 89% of my CPU power, and of course it revealed to whoever installed it, everything about me, my Mac and all my accounts. I can't express my appreciation enough. I have given it to my Mac IT & Mac Diagnostic friends, who simply love it, and wish to thank the developer through me. An absolutely incredible program, that deserves much praise and appreciation. Excellent & useful little program! I always feel bad for the developer(s) when I see low star ratings due to something that should be brought to the developer's attention at his or her site; especially if said app is free. I really liked Harristype's comments and very much appreciated the developers reply at the bottom. Not right to give a solid app like this such a low rating. I'd give it 10 stars if I could, just to off set the half star. Thanks Leo–great job! I have many apps that perform similar functions, but "Visibility" just kicked out everything else in my 'HIDDEN FILE FINDERS' folder: UTILITIES/HIDDEN FILE FINDERS GoodbyeHello Hidden Files 3.0.2 Hide It!.app Hide and Seek HideSwitch 1.2 Houdini 3.0.1 Invisible Finder 2.1 Kilometre 1.2.1 Sneak A Peek Visibility 1.4 Wizzard 1 iShow Invisible 1.6.5 iVisibilityX 1.0b invisibliX 3.1 The only thing in there now –– is Visibility 1.4 All the best Leo… Annie
Wow. That's amazing. I give a program 5 stars, compliment several of the posters here, and you guys give me a -smilie. Sorry I offended you. I guess I'll never learn when it comes to posting here.
I want to say, if you were my kid, I'd be very proud of you. I've watched your development of this program from the first. Your tenacity, dedication and commitment to making this a valuable Mac tool, for free, to the rest of us, is simply something to behold; and something we don't see enough of in my country: courage and commitment in the face of great odds. Both hands clapping my young friend. You know what I think? You're going to be one fine Mac developer, with a great career ahead of you. Remember to do what you already know is the secrete to your success, now and in the future: Never give up. Annie Walker ;-)
Downloaded the lite versions of both Menu & Folder. Running 10.6.8 Have both apps in my "Applications Folder" by themselves, not in another folder. Cannot get Apps to open at all & Folder appears in menu bar, but apple's beach ball is very possessive, in fact, relentless ;-) Ran permissions, and manually did same. I just ran all my daily fixes and system is otherwise running good. Help anyone? [Version 1.2.4]

Just wanted to see how this has a ✭✭✭✭✭ rating, when no one visible gave it one.
