Just a comment -- this rather vulgar name is off-putting to me. Just a marketing note.
Hi folks, just expressing my viewpoint, not a huge issue -- I fully realize that the word is moving into common use for "decorate" or "fancy up", but for millions of people it still primarily refers to a "male procurer" of prostitutes. Just saying that from a marketing perspective it's something to consider if you are naming a product.
I'm getting this: "Vectoraster.app" can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer. Rather than we users loosening our security settings, is it a problem to become an "identified developer"? (Not necessarily Mac store, which I know is a hassle.) I hope it isn't costly to you to be "identified"... Great idea for an app, and I'm looking forward to creating with it.
I hear ya talking there, and pretty much agree with you. Since I posted, I have learned to open apps in this situation by control-clicking and using the popup menu -- so, once known, an easy workaround. Good luck with Vectoraster!
Every file in this .dmg is dated 2010. Is this really the right download for March 2012? It doesn't show in my Photoshop Filter menu, either (gotta study about installation a bit more, but I just dragged it to the PS5.1 Plug-Ins folder, as the short instruction said).
How does an app get four and a half stars without a review? Wondering...
Ah, I see: there's a single rating without comment.
My favorite audio editor! It continues to improve with time. And thank you for keeping it PPC-compatible.
An excellent app for a long time. And thank you Boinx Software for keeping it PPC-compatible.
Well, I've necessarily gone Intel (like most of us, I imagine) since writing the above message, but I still like the app!
This is now the third or fourth app I've seen that I WOULD download and try, but am shut out by the fact that the app store is Intel-only. for the time being I must use a (still very capable) G5 machine. I'm sure I'm not the only user who is growing frustrated with MacUpdate (and Apple) since this new development.
Oops (egg on face but wiping it off) I now notice this IS an Intel-only app -- but I HAVE seen this problem with PPC-compatible apps...
