I'm supposed to send you $20, what, just for the hell of it?
Dead links, dead site.
I love Flavours, some of them, and can take in the whole array of open windows better ... like the general calming down of the UI you can achieve with this ... But! I have serious issues come up after a while of using . .. can't put my finger on, but things start to go screwy, and I ended up twice doing clean reinstalls of Mavericks ... never had to before. Not saying to steer clear. Just a comment. Their support is great ... remains a mystery, not using, for now.
Snake oil, my a**. Without the ability to run a quick purge without opening Terminal, I'd have to be restarting Safari way, way often. MacBook Pro, 8GB RAM, 10.9.2 ....and have been using Apple portables since some of you Superior Ones were in diapers. Instead of acting out here, go to Apple Feedback. It's Apple engineers who aren't fixing the hogs like Safari Web Process. Yeah, I want to use Safari, which is otherwise so fine ...
Softpedia now includes Mac malware with its downloads, Genio in this case. If you really want Matilde, just trash any other dmg that come down with it. Do not install weird unknown things! The malware is named installjdownloader, dmg, lately - and I am sorry to see this cool little app abandoned. Maybe MacUpdate should de-list it, along with anything else that links to Softpedia. The site is listed as Unsafe.
After using this for years, I feel safer now using a similar app that does not clean the whole machine but stays out of the system and other places it’s clear the OS doesn’t want you to go. Even though I do, would still not advise these “delete everywhere”apps.
Are they still at it?
Not just to counter all the negative “reviews” but because this thing has worked seamlessly and instantly between MacBook Pro (oder) iPad2 and iPhone 4S since release. And it’s Free? Put it in your menubar and quit yr. bitching. The problem is yours.
How many of these are going to be released, and sold at exorbitant prices to Mac suckers, er, I mean, new users. Welcome to the Mac, forget the eye candy, and take a look at some of the old standbys like Onyx and TinkerTool System. Also be aware, this “clean everything” approach is part of the scam, the Mac depends upon caches and the like. Hell, I been on Mac since Jaguar, and by Mavericks, there’s no big clean be done. Be careful out there.
When and why the hell did note apps get so expensive?
