You can buy this on the MAS for $5 this weekend (June 17-19). Nice if you want to transfer your license, upgrade, or purchase for the first time.

If I didn't need this to watch some videos (i.e., Hulu), I would trash this piece of garbage in a skinny minute.

Great little app that lets me use many of my favorite text editors like WriteRoom whenever and wherever I might be imputing text. Very seamless and simple to use that saves on repetitive copy and pasting. If your favorite editor is not on the list, contact the editor's developer to add support for ODB Editor Suite support.

Ok, people need to get over this app being a whole $1. Like the N Wireless Upgrade a few years back and the iPod iOS upgrades, Apple pretty much has to charge something for the upgrade because of accounting regulations. So they're charging what amounts to the bear minimum for what is a nifty little app. I'm sure it will come included in OSX Lion (10.7) as it does right now with the new MacBook Pros, so if you REALLY cannot bear to pay $1, wait until the summer. Otherwise, please rate the app based on the app, not the fact you have to pay for it.

Great application that works as advertised. That said, I am not sure the new features being offered alone are worth the price of a paid upgrade for most users. Personally, I expect more for a new version jump and don't see any reason to pay for an upgrade from 6 to 7.

"Just to clarify, the last paid update was 14 months ago and DVDRemaster 7.x includes the top 3 most requested features." Yes and I have noticed Metakine is wedded to a 12-14 month paid upgrade cycle. While these 3 new features may have been highly requested, in and of themselves they are not such powerful features (imho) to warrant a full version update. Personally, this looks like it should be version 6.5. Obviously I am not alone in my opinion. The difference between version 5 and 6, for example, was large enough that I was happy to pay the upgrade fee. Not so much this time around., and I am afraid any bug fixes that may or may not be necessary in 2011 will be lost to me as a result.
