Development is dead, protocol is insecure.
This app is pretty great! I just wish there was the ability to have 1080p video instead. You know, since resolutions are ever increasing, as does processing power, it would be nice as an option for the power users. Also, SSDs in newer computers also mean there is not strain on disk access, so even less worry to have 1080p. Its just too bad that the app has a pretty slow and non-standard UI, which can be confusing (for some) and annoying (for slower machines)
So, where can I find the 4.9 version to try that?
Does it also convert Blu-ray streams or images?
You gotta be kidding me. Thanks App Store... 1000 apps for 99 cents each that do pretty much the same thing, just a LITTLE different. Say NO to garbage and one-trick ponies!
This app is currently crashing right away when launching, when it says "updating tags folder" or somethingsomething. I sent an eMail to support yesterday. Lets hope this bug is getting fixed soon.
"Youtube Download" is listed as a feature, but it is nowhere to be found. Even the built-in help file does not find any word called "YouTube". How to do this when it is never explained?
Great little app to connect to your bank accounts and fetch the data online. However, I contacted the developers about future updates because the new "Smart TAN Plus" connection is not supported. They told me that development of this app is FROZEN and wont resume for quite some time. So if you use PIN/TAN connections or mTAN, it should work, but NOT with Smart TAN Plus! I am already looking for alternatives, but currently the situation seems pretty bleak... :(
I am a total beginner when it comes to website creation, BUT I quickly found that I needed some advanced features like code injections in order to add something like a flattr button and such. So, after using iWeb at first, which was of course dead simple, I quickly needed something more sophisticated. I jumped on RapidWeaver and loved it at first, but some usability problems made it complicated to use it for what I wanted, and also, sorry, the designs are kinda ugly at times. I even tried to learn more hardcore tools like Flux, but it took me ages to get actually something done with it. Then I found Sandvox. Oh boy, I really dont know about V1, but the new release deserves more praise than a mere 3 Stars here at MacUpdate! A LARGE variety of built-in themes, lots of those pagelets for customizing your site and a good balance between iWeb-like beginner features and advanced add-ons. Yes, you are kinda bound to a design, but you can always switch between them with a few clicks or purchase a third-party design if there is something you end up liking. Ease of use and stability are really out there, combined with great features and a great value. What else is there to say aside this: I trust this app to create my website! And this says a lot!
