Its easy: remove this app with Appdelete, Appcleaner, Itrash, .. and the protection is gone. No admin access needed. I tried this on two systems and the workaround works every time.

About the best as it can get. Awesome FTP client. The only thing I would like to see is the ability to save passwords. I mean, I have to type in my password every time I log onto my server.

Simply put, the leader of the converters pack. A must have tool.

I agree. Stealing another applications name and putting a trademark on it is sleazy marketing practices to say the least. On top this app is crap. Why would we need another trashcan on our desktop?

I use VisualHub for a very long time now and lately I feel it is getting a bit 'old' seeing all new converters popping up. Last week my big needed annual vacation finally started so I had some time of my hands to do some thoroughly testing the new converters. In short I can say Iffmpeg is by far the most complete converter you can get your hands on. The main attraction and the ones that makes you love this app are : - It can handle batch processing with individual control for every file in the batch. - Support for nearly every codec known. I totally dig the way it handles file formats. For example the MP4 file format supports more then 10 video codecs and audio codecs. No other converter does this. - Creating .ISO files (with or without chapters) - I love the the filter section. Adding watermarks, adding or removing black borders, altering brightness and so on.   It is fair to say I can leave my good old VisualHub behind. I love Iffmpeg :)

Still the leader of the pack. Support for every single container and codecs. Awesome.

For me the best image editor at a very low price. Looks great and the workflow is similar to PS. This highly recommended to every Mac owner.

I am tempted to buy this but I read some users saying it does not block everything. Some application still manage to bypass LS. Can someone enlighten me and convince me to buy it anyway.
