Horrible, and practically malicious. After installation Safari opens 3 tabs hawking Mac software. The download was 3 MB and the Sunset.qtz file was all I could find to delete. The screensaver doesn't even work, of course. Horrible.
If onemac.net is the Dev he or she should ID themselves as such. Going to onemac.net brings up a site with the same navigation bar on the bottom of the page that is on the 3 tabs Safari opens after this lousy screensaver that doesn't work launches it. Indeed this whole outfit is horrible.
Not a lot of FREE programs that can host VST Instruments, eh? Well, this is one and does it better than I expected. It's not pretty, it's not easy, it's still pretty awesome though.
NBC and ABC don't work, makes the app a lot less useful.
@ Jazzyguy A bunch of channels don't work.
Not bad, but several channels that work with Plex Media server don't work with this. Quite a drag. Also, it looks like you need a media server running to even use channels etc.
An A for effort. But, things aren't getting any more stable. Unfortunately, things may be getting worse. Many of these crash System Preferences or run poorly. Many others run great. A mixed bag.
Way cool! I tried this long ago and wasn't impressed. I don't know exactly what's different but this is a very cool game now. Thanks for the hard work, devs!
I've said it before, and I'll say it again... If just half of the people who give Adobe all of their money and know have to pay monthly to upgrade would just donate $10 to the development of The Gimp it could really be a game changer. I love the Gimp and have for a long time. Now, native on OS X and maturing nicely. This is such a great gift to the Mac community. Thank you, so much!
My favorite screensaver of all time. It's cool when someone is sitting a ways away from the monitor and this kicks in with a screenshot. They always do a double take. Thanks for updating it for Mavericks!
Downloaded. DMG, mounted. Flash installer launched. TOS box checked. Then, nothing, nada, zip, zilch. Can click the install button but nothing happens. WTG, Adobe! Not.
@ Albabe Thanks, I just tried that. Same thing. It downloads, mounts, the installer launches, but it won't run, even after checking off the TOS box. Bizarre. This is on Mavericks.
Sorry, my bad. Something was screwy with my machine. I couldn't get the "install" buttons to work on any software. A re-boot cured it. So, we'll try the beta again in a bit. Thanks.
I use this about every day with my Roku. A match made in heaven. Thanks! It's a got a bit of a learning curve , especially if you want to get deeper into the thing and use non-listed channels and such. Channels break sometimes. But, they're community made and that's to be expected. Overall it's amazing.
